Norwegian Language Classes

Spring Semester

Norwegian Language classes start in the middle of January and then run for 12 weeks, which means they generally finish within the first two weeks in April. Classes are taught one evening per week for 2 hours.

Fall Semester

Norwegian Language classes start up in the middle of September and then run for 12 weeks, which means they generally finish within the first two weeks in December. Classes are taught one evening per week for 2 hours.

Locations

Kinsmen Lutheran Church
Conversation/ Advanced class at Kinsmen Lutheran Church, 12100 Champion Forest, Houston, TX 77066 (in Northwest Houston - FM 1960 area).
The class is scheduled for Monday evenings from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Memorial Drive Lutheran Church
We have scheduled a Beginner class and an Intermediate class at Memorial Drive Lutheran Church, 12211 Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77024-6206 (Intersection Memorial and Gessner).
The Beginner class is on Monday evenings and the Intermediate class is on Tuesday evenings.
Both of them run from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Norwegian Seamen’s Church
We have scheduled an Intermediate class at The Norwegian Seamen’s Church, 4309 Young Street, Pasadena, TX 77504. The class is on Wednesday evenings, from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Teacher:Inger Russell.

Class fee: $75
NST annual membership fee: $25 (family or individual membership)
Text Book: $30
Work Book: $20
Grammar: $10
(The books are a one-time expense)
